At Aesthetic + Function Design Studio we strive to make the design process as smooth as possible as we help you find your style and implement your vision to create a space all your own. From small projects to large, we can help both inside and outside the home with our experience and contacts in interior, architectural, and landscape design. AFDS can provide as much or as little assistance as you would like on your design journey, and here is how we can do that…
How we work:
One-Time Consultation
AFDS comes out and we go through your space, discuss your needs and wants, and give you some ideas then and there on what you can do. This option is great for getting ideas such as: furniture placement, paint colors, additional storage suggestion, size of new furniture items, etc. Or if you already have ideas and items that you've already sourced and want another opinion on them, this is for you! This option is charged by the hour, with a minimum charge of one hour. Payment is due at the end of our meeting.
Hourly Package
AFDS comes to look at your space and go over your needs and wants. After our meeting, AFDS will send you a proposal for a package of hours that will be applied to the design needs of the space. This includes, but is not limited to: floor plans, elevation drawings, product sourcing, mood boards, visiting stores with you, meeting to review selections. This option is great if you have a lot of individual, unconnected projects that you would like AFDS to assist with. There is a 5 hour minimum for this package.
Design Package
We meet to look at your space and go over your needs and wants. After our meeting, AFDS will send you a proposal for a flat design project rate. This proposal will include a list of the deliverables that we will have discussed at the initial meeting. This is a great option for projects that you want to be more hands off on; we bring design selections and ideas to you and can procure items and have them installed if you would like. This option is often for projects such as: bathroom & kitchen remodels, basement finishing, and living room refreshes (new furniture, flooring, paint, etc.).
